Overview
You can apply to come to the UK as a representative of an overseas business visa if you’re from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland and you’re either:
·         the sole representative of an overseas company planning to set up a UK branch or a wholly owned subsidiary for an overseas parent company
·         an employee of an overseas newspaper, news agency or broadcasting organization posted on a long-term assignment to the UK

Eligibility

To be eligible for this UK Visa you must:
·         apply from outside the EEA
·         have enough money to support yourself without help from public funds
·         meet the English requirement

Sole representative Visa From Dubai:

If you are coming to the UK as a sole representative you must:
·         be recruited and employed outside the UK by a company whose headquarters and principal place of business are outside the UK
·         have extensive related industry experience and knowledge
·         hold a senior position within the company (but not be a major shareholder) and have full authority to make decisions on its behalf
·         intend to establish the company’s first commercial presence in the UK, for example a registered branch or a wholly owned subsidiary
You may also be eligible if the company has a legal entity in the UK that does not employ staff or transact business.
If your company has been working to establish a UK branch or subsidiary, but it is not yet set up, you can replace a previous sole representative.

Newspaper, news agency or broadcast employees

As an employee of an overseas newspaper, news agency or broadcasting organization, you can come to the UK if you’re being posted here on a long-term assignment.
When applying as a sole representative of an overseas company you’ll need to provide:
·         a full description of the parent company’s activities, including details of assets and accounts
·         a letter confirming the overseas company will establish a wholly-owned subsidiary or register a branch in the UK in the same business activity as the parent company
·         your job description, employment contract and salary details
·         a letter confirming you’re familiar with the company and have the power to take operational decisions
You should also provide evidence that you:
·         are directly employed by the parent company and are not acting as a sales agent (ie hired by a company to sell or distribute their products within the UK, but working for yourself and providing your services for a fee)
·         were recruited to the company outside of the UK, hold a senior position and are able to make decisions on its behalf and have the authority to establish and operate a registered branch
·         will be working full time for the company for the duration of your stay and will not carry out any other work
·         are not a majority shareholder in the company

UK Innovator Visa
Overview
You can apply for an UK Innovator visa if:
·         you want to set up or run a business in the UK
·         you’re from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland
·         you meet the other eligibility requirements
·         your business or business idea has been endorsed by an approved body
Eligibility
Before you apply you need to have your business or business idea assessed by an approved body.
They will provide you with an endorsement letter if your business is viable.
You must also:
·         meet the English language requirement
·         be at least 18 years old
·         be able to prove that you have enough personal savings to support yourself while you’re in the UK

If you want to set up a new business

You must have at least £50,000 in investment funds to apply for an Innovator visa if you want to set up a new business.
Your funding can come from any source.
You do not need any investment funds if your business is already established and has been endorsed for an earlier visa.

Supporting yourself

You need to have had at least £945 in your bank account for 90 consecutive days before you apply.
You cannot use either of the following to support yourself:
·         money from your investment funds
·         money earned while working in the UK illegally

Sharing investment funds

You can form a team with other Innovator applicants, but you cannot share the same investment funds.
Your team must have £50,000 for each Innovator applicant. For example, if you have 2 Innovator applicants, your team must have £100,000 to invest.
Documents you must provide
When you apply for uk business visa you need to provide an ‘endorsement letter’ to show that an approved body has assessed your business or business idea.
You also need to provide:
·         a current passport or other valid travel identification
·         bank statements showing you’ve had at least £945 in savings in your bank account for 90 consecutive days before you apply
·         proof that you meet the English language requirement
·         evidence of your investment funds (if you’re setting up a new business)
·         your tuberculosis test results if you’re from a country where you have to take the test

The main activities that a businessperson visiting the UK on a Standard visitor visa can perform are as follows:

You can stay in the UK for up to 6 months with a UK Standard Visitor Visa.
UK Innovator Visa
The UK innovator visa is for investors who want to set up a business in the UK or run an already established business in the UK. Eligible for application are all non-EEA and non-Swiss nationals. For those wishing to set up a business, an investment fund of at least £50,000 is required.
There are other eligibility criteria as well. If you are applying for this visa, you should prove you have the necessary means of subsistence, meet the English Language requirement and be at least 18 years of age.
You can stay in the UK for up to three years with a UK Innovator Visa. You can then apply for an extension before its expiration. After five years in the UK with this visa, you can apply for settlement in the UK.
UK Start-Up Visa
If you want to set up a business in the UK as a non-EEA and non-Swiss national, you can apply for a UK StartUp Visa.
The main criterion is that you must be endorsed by an authorized body, that is either a UK higher education institution, or a business organization with a history of supporting UK entrepreneurs.
You can stay in the UK for up to 2 years with a UK Start-Up Visa.
You can apply for a Representative of an Overseas Business visa if you are from outside of the EEA and Switzerland. You must meet one of the following:
  • You are the only representative of an overseas company which is planning to set up a branch in the UK or a wholly owned subsidiary for an overseas parent company.
  • You are an employee of an overseas medium, as a newspaper, a news agency or a broadcasting organization, with a long-term assignment in the UK.
This visa enables you to stay in the UK for an initial period of 3 years. You can then apply for an extension of two years. After five years in the UK, you can apply for settlement.

UK Startup visa | High Potential Entrepreneurs
Overview
The UK Start-up Visa category is reserved for early-stage, high potential entrepreneurs starting a business in Britain for the first time. The earliest that you can apply for a UK Start-up Visa is three months before you travel.
You can apply for a UK Startup visa if:
·         you want to set up a business in the UK
·         you’re from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland
·         you meet the other eligibility requirements
Getting endorsed
You must be endorsed by an authorized body that is either:
·         UK higher education institution
·         Business organization with a history of supporting UK entrepreneurs
You must be able to show that your business plan is:
·         a new plan - you cannot join or invest in a business that is already trading
·         innovative - you must have an original business plan which is different from anything else on the market
·         viable, with potential for growth
Read the endorsing bodies list - you should only approach ones that are suitable for your business plan.
Eligibility
